Poor Butterfly

I know I’ve posted about this before, but seeing as how I’m back on it in a big way, I can’t help but link you all to Poor Butterfly. I’ve been revamping the look of the comic, learning some good lessons about styling and editing, and I think it’s headed in a good direction. Head over! Check it out! And for goodness’ sake, if you like what you see, link to me! I’d love to get my readership up. If you don’t feel like reloading the page 9,000,000 times in the next couple of years, check out the RSS feed. And when I say, “next couple of years,” I mean it. I’ve got the comic’s story planned out for several years’ worth of comic, and I’m going to try to be posting at least three times a week (if not more often, whenever I can).

Please feel free to comment and let me know if I’ve got any broken links… or even if you hate the website and everything I stand for.

If you feel like linking from your website, thank you so much! Please let me know so I can reward you personally (free art? Free cookies? I’ll find a way!). If you’re looking for a cute little button or banner, peruse this selection:

Updated web-site

Yep, that’s right! My website at www.sarahmcmenomy.com has been updated and given a totally new look. Go on over, poke around, and let me know what you think. I have uploaded new, never-before-seen art, and much more is on its way in the near future. Current galleries are:

“Weightless” - Images of subjects that have somehow managed to break at least partially free of gravity.
“Dreadful” - Somewhat macabre, sometimes emo.
“Miscellany” - Anything that couldn’t fit into the other categories, but which I really wanted to post anyhow.

Also on the horizon, I’ll be printing up some of my works as simple art prints and making them available for purchase via either PayPal or a third-party printmaker.

Galleries that are coming in the future:

A collection of Mandalas,
A themed series of circus/sideshow prints,
A set on the elements,
And more!

- Keep in touch!

This is pretty simple.

I’m making art—business cards. They’re tiny little one-of-a-kind pieces of art with my name, e-mail address, and homepage URL on them. I know it seems silly to mail a business card, but if you want a small, free bit of art from me, e-mail me with your mailing address, and I’ll send you one! Free of charge for you!

This offer could expire at any time!

No guarantees as to what you’ll get on your card!

No repeats of designs! All unique!

They might suck! If so, please remember to recycle. Or you might be able to sell them for hundreds of dollars in a few short years!

Hey, check it out!

Hey everyone!—If you didn’t already know, I graduated a week ago with a B.A. from Whitman College in the field of Art.

(Some schools call it “Fine Arts” or “Studio Arts” but most of the point of that is to make a distinction between that and Art History.)

So I’m back in Bellevue, Land of Many Lattes, and looking for a job pretty much anywhere in the Bellevue/Seattle area—though preferably in Seattle, since I’m looking to move there sometime before the end of the year. (Probably in the next few months, but I’m not too sure—money is a deciding factor in this.)

Anyone want to hire me?
