Well, friends, I’m officially all moved out; no more residing in the parental abode, I am scrounging together my salary into something I can live on in Fremont now. Anyone out there want to hang out? I only know very few people around here, but it looks like a great place to hang out, if any of the following are your bag of fun:

Dive bars — the Buckaroo Tavern, or the High Dive
Clubs — like Tost
Cute little gift shops — Frame Up, Burnt Sugar, more than I can really list
Indie and used book shops — Ophelia’s, Fremont Place Books, Wit’s End
Coffee shops — Caffe Vita, Fremont Coffee, many more
Odd statuary — the Fremont Troll, Lenin, an old nuclear fuselage

There is also a great-lookin’ sushi restaurant that I’m planning to hit up at some point, various Thai and Indian restaurants, Taco Del Mar, PCC, and more. Any other good places around here? Let me know.
