I love days off. I enjoy them more than I ever enjoyed free time when I was unemployed. Now, suddenly, I feel the need to fill my time, enjoy every free moment to its fullest.

Yesterday, I had a great day. I read a whole novel, produced a number of drawings, and made a delicious dinner of fresh herbed salad (Sage and Oregano picked from our garden, plus fresh lettuce and a garlicky-vinaigrette), Julia Child’s delicious Ratatouille, and my first-ever Creme Brulée. The drawings are inspired by (or the inspiration for…) an idea I had lately to sell artwork online. We’ll see how that pans out as I produce stuff for scanning and so on.

In the meanwhile: yes, I’m still alive. I have some major website redesign to do (on the edges of my full-time job…); I even have some artwork to upload to Poor Butterfly (though that’s not likely to happen tonight). To my friends in Walla Walla, I miss you a ton. To my friends around here — well, I probably won’t see much of you for awhile! (Heh, heh.)

To the rest of the world, watch out. I’m comin’ for ya.
