We took an Autumnal Equinox shot at 7:29 PT tonight, of the very first taste of my plum moonshine. It was pretty plummy, y’all.
Here’s the recipe:
1) Get, or have, a bunch of plums.
2) Clean the plums.
3) Put the plums in jars.
4) Pour vodka into the jars to cover the plums.
5) Leave the plums somewhere cool and dark for 3-6 months.
Tonight was (roughly) 1.5 months. The brew itself is a light strawberry color, and the plums themselves look strangely vampiric, as though Bunnicula has come along and drained them of their hue. It’s pretty tasty, though.
